Classic Design always influences my approach when designing a Historic Home.

Looking toward the past is a hallmark that defines me and my empathic viewpoint of designing interiors. Digging deep and allowing the act of discovery, listening to a house and what it is asking for, is crucial.

I was granted the freedom to enhance and elevate the designs to match the character of the residence. The original wood floors have been revived, pocket doors realigned, and plaster ceilings lacquered, which helped retain the elegance of the bygone era. Along with all the attention being paid to restoration, there must be moments of levity. In the dining room, slipcovered dining chair seats with a box pleated skirt are playful and fresh, along with the bubble chandelier, modern shaped mirror, and crisp velvet curtain panels.
